being referred to us for occupational health assessments will be contacted
by the health specialist to arrange an appointment date. This can be at
our Glasgow clinic or at their home, whichever suits your employee. The
assessments will be carried out and a report sent direct to you with recommendations
of what you should do next and a likely timescale for the persons' return
to work. We will constantly be in contact with you. You will, with the
employees consent, be informed of any diagnosis and recommendations for
the employee returning to work. The
law It is becoming more common for employees to be off work with work related stress. Your company has a legal obligation under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to assess the risk of stress-related ill health arising from work and, under the Health and Safety at Work (etc.) Act 1974, and do what is necessary to ensure the risk is reduced where possible.
